She's Amazing!

I recognized that sweet little head as soon as I walked into the Adoption Affairs office. It's hard to believe she's really ours and they're going to let us take her home. Ava took an immediate liking to her new big sister, Leah. So far, she's the only one to get a laugh or smile out of Ava.

Today is the day!

We're meeting in the lobby of the Dolton at 2:40 to go and meet our babies. It's been an exhausting five days with travel and lack of sleep. Will post pictues soon of travels in Beijing and of course, Ava.

I'm in Love!

I look at her picture every day and can't believe she will soon belong to us. It seems so surreal that this little baby on the other side of the world is our daughter.

Finally, Ava!

Our agency called today to say we have a seven-month-old daughter from Hunan province! Her name is Yong Xiao Le and she's cute as a button. As soon as we can get a picture scanned and uploaded the world will see what a little doll she is.

We're Next!

The cutoff date for the last group to be referred was 2/9/2006; that means our LID of 2/10/2006 is NEXT!

A New Development

I just found out that we were given the wrong LID. It's actually February 10, 2006; what a huge disappointment. The wait just keeps getting longer.
